Fuel Storage

Medical Treatment

MSDS or Material Safety Data Sheets must be located inside all facilities where forklifts are operating. This center would include the MSDSs for all solvents and chemicals that are used on site. This will also cover the acid in the lift truck battery, together with the propane that is used to refuel the unit.



MSDSs sheets need to be available for all workers at all times. If any exposure incident occurs for instance, the individual needs to be evaluated right away. If any medical attention is considered necessary, to must be given without any delay. Generally, if you are not sure if medical treatment is considered necessary, as a general rule; have the injury examined by a medical professional if you truly think it is severe.
