Heavy Forklifts
Hyundai is targeting a new customer base with their new range of heavy forklift trucks. Various industries, from the natural stone and concrete industries, to the steel industry, the railway sector and the transportation of heavy goods in the ports are all depending upon and working with heavy duty equipment. The power and efficiency provided by the units keep cost of operation low and provide the best conditions for efficient work. These kinds of machinery can excel in the nearly all demanding settings.
The Cummins diesel engines ranging from 162 horse-power to 250hp provides the needed power on all of the large capacity models. TierIII emission standards are met with engines that have 6 cylinders. These models are able to take the truck up to a speed of 35 km/h. It provides for a high climbing ability on steep slopes and rough terrain and offers great acceleration as well.
In order to pick 1 of 2 driving modes, the operator can utilize a switch. When in "Power" mode, full power is available for work on difficult terrain or heavy loads. In the "STP" mode, the trucks could save lots of fuel during light-duty work. Furthermore, just by pressing a switch, the operator could automatically maintain a selected speed without touching the accelerator pedal. This is an added fuel saving feature. The fully automatic transmission of the forklift gently shifts through the gears, making the machinery easy to maneuver and comfortable to use.
A comfortable and spacious working place is provided by a well-ventilated cabin. The cabin combines high performance with fatigue-free work. The powerful air conditioning and heating system helps ensure the operator has a comfortable interior. The cab was ergonomically designed to offer a bird's eye view of all of the controls, adding to the unit's overall safety. A CD player and an MP3 player put the finishing touches on offering the enjoyable atmosphere that Hyundai equipment are supposed to have.
