End Control Forklifts
AC stand-up end control forklift trucks are common in the material handling industry for their extreme flexibility. These equipment have great performance characteristics that are somewhat similar to sit-down electric lift truck units.
Ideally, these forklift truck units are suitable for warehousing operation atmospheres that have limited space. Their working aisle requirements are usually less than those required of a three-wheel electric forklift truck. These machines are an excellent option for applications which require frequent on and off access, as their stand-up design is an exceptional feature.
Many businesses used a reach truck to maintain their storage facilities. These loading machines can arrange finished products on pallets and supplies to be stored or stacked into tall shelving compartments. The reach truck offers safe and easy retrieval of the loaded pallets. It is also a great option for individuals who prefer to store pallets of goods they do not need yet in a safe and efficient way.
The standard reach truck unit is equipped with an out-rigging mechanism situated on the front of the truck. A set of telescoping blades which move down and up are mounted to the out-rigging. The forks additionally have a hydraulic setup that enables the operator to pick up the load and reposition it over the out-riggers. This particular design not only provides a lot more balance to the whole load, but makes it easier for the reach truck to maneuver into narrow aisles between the storage shelves.
When the reach truck finds the shelves that are designated for the pallet, the hydraulics allow the blades to swing into position and lower the pallet into the shelving, sliding the pallet into position. Typically, a reach truck will easily fit into an aisle that is less than 10 feet across without problems, so long as there are no other pallets protruding out from the shelving area.
