Lull Telehandlers
Since the year 1959, Lull has been making telehandlers. Their machines have been designed for load placement with their patented Stabil-Trak stability system. This system provides much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers offer different optional attachments and these telehandlers are available to help you accomplish all your needs, whilst being efficient and safe at the worksite. When precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you require.
The Future
Many attachments have been designed and developed in order to make rough terrain lift trucks as efficient as possible. Winches, booms and rotating fork carriages allow the forklift to position materials in a more precise way. The articulating booms or booms come with 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures in order to place loads in the upper or center floors or on interior roof slope settings. New products and attachments are being made and designed all the time and will debut in the future.
With extra safety features becoming more prevalent, several improvements have been made. Like for instance, load-reach management devices can automatically restrict the forklift's reach, based on the load being handled rather than depending on the operator. Pressure sensors are used in order to know the load weight. This information is sent to a tiny electronic memory device that had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The memory of the boom will compare the extension and the angle of the boom with the safety limits, when the load is being placed into position. There is an essential lock-up device or a warning system that prevents the operator from over-reaching and potentially causing the forklift to tip over or the boom to fail.
