Peiner Construction Cranes Long Beach

Peiner Construction Cranes Long Beach

SMAG is a German corporation and world leader in the design and manufacture of Peiner Buckets and Grapples. Our manufacturing line is comprised of hydraulic lifting devices, electro-hydraulic motor grabs, mechanical motor grabs, single rope radio control grabs and a variety of other types of specialized lifting machines.

Peiner has made and sold over 75,000 models for the global market. Peiner's unique grabs could handle a wide variety of materials and products like cement, iron ores, fertilizers, coke, scrap and refuse. Our numerous years of experience in making excellent products and the overall designing process helps to enable our customers be given the proven technology their various applications require.

SMAG/Peiner has been represented by Peiner USA, Inc. for over twelve years in the US market place. Various industries like for example Steel Mills, Waste to Energy, Scrap Handling, and many other material handling facilities like Bulk Transfer Facilities now utilizing our buckets and grabs to get their jobs done.

Peiner's design philosophy has continually revolved around the idea of making grabs that deal with the biggest volume rather than grab dead weight. Usually, the grab and bucket lifting ratio's meaning that 60 percent of material is dead weight vs. 40 percent grab dead weight. This translates into moving more quantities of supplies quicker. There is less wear and tear on the crane structure and its related parts. Through a combination of high quality materials and innovative design with manufacturing, the weight ration that is required is obtained.

To be able to suit the particular requirements of our customer's individual requirements, grab sizes range from less than 1 cubic yard to over 50 cubic yards. Peiner USA Inc. additionally provides a complete spare parts facility and service facility for the units purchased within the USA, as well as the addition of new grabs and buckets.
